Basically they were so clueless I don't see how anyone can trust them at any point in the near future.

No kidding. I just bought a new laptop yesterday and some Lenovo computers were in the running. Glad I didn't pick them. This is a huge hit to their brand, if the word gets out to the general public.

Pretty terrible, but I always wipe and install my own copy of Windows on laptops anyway, and it's easy to remove this shite regardless (I know the average user won't do that, so that's a shame nonetheless).
