DJ has did a good job especially on plays requiring quickness we are only slightly better up the middle, our whole defense got better not just the lbs!

The hate for DJ, much like the hate for JJ was misplaced. Blame the decision makers for playing guys with limited abilities. Hell, he was blamed for missed tackles at times he wasn't in the game.

That is an excellent point and couldn't be more true. The problem is in both circumstances, not unlike the excuses we hear today from those decision makers as to why Harris doesn't play or why Mettenburger couldn't start from day one is that these guys don't know the system and then miraculously when they do get in they perform significantly better than who they replaced. Our decision makers are suspect.

Because they have won too few games and lost too many?

I guess we should shift our anger from DJ Welter to John Chavis. Chavis was the one that put Welter out there game after game to get exposed to the people like us in the rant.

Chavis had Welter out there as a scape goat so everyone could blame the terrible defense play on Welter in 2013 and half of 2014 and not on his own terrible defensive scheme. Thankfully, we won't have to worry about either one of those things anymore though. F U CHAVIS.

As in 7-8/22 starters being white. That's a decent mix.

That's about what we had in 07.

What if he were Bruce Irvin, Bruce Matthews, or Bruce Smith? Where would you be then? shite, what if he was Bruce Arians? You'd really look stupid then.

If he were any of the above he wouldn't be hanging around in here would he?

Welter always played hard and he was bashed for making so many tackles after 10 yard gains. On those very plays, there were 2 or 3 other players that missed the tackle.
That comment hit the nail on the head. 100% correct!

Being you, obviously know everything about being a middle linebacker, I guess you can get in and do a better job?

wow

I thought welter was great. Wouldn't be surprised one bit if he gets drafted in the first 3 rounds.
