Which is better? Dawn in from a fallen star. Valyrian steel can't be made any more. Which would you prefer?

I love GoT as much as anyone, but there's got to be some kind of geek board not on TigerDroppings where you can ask these unbelievably specific questions about a fictional universe.
That said. Give me the Valyrian steel.

Gotta go with Valyrian Steel. Not sure how Dawn performs against White Walkers and Winter is Coming.....

We got a month and a half before the next episode. Talking about it make it go by faster.

I'd go with Valyrian Steel as well, although I suspect Dawn can slay White Walkers as well since I think it's the original Lightbringer and the Dains are descended from the original Azor Ahai. But I'm not sure how Dawn fairs against Valyrian Steel, so I'll take my chances with swords that are proven hundreds of times over.

Some of you take this shite WAAAAAAAAY too seriously.
Maybe we can discuss it all at a Trekkie convention?

The Daynes reportedly carried Dawn for thousands of years. This is from the Wiki:
If it shares all the properties of a Valyrian blade with the addition aforementioned properties of being able to slay the Others then give me Dawn.

The blade is as pale as milkglass, looking like no Valyrian blade, yet sharing all of the properties, being incredibly strong and sharp.

My question is this though: How are they sure it's as strong as Valyrian Steel and that it shares all of it's properties. I don't think Valyrian Steel has been in Westeros for more than a thousand years, and the Sword of the Morning only rises once a century or longer. I know that Dawn faced off against Ice at one point, but I don't think Dawn has gone into battle all that often against Valyrian blades. I'm sure it stays sharp on it's own like Valyrian blades, but I'm not sure about much else.

The answer is obviously Dawn. Kinda surprised so many people aren't saying this
