My wife left a great job to move with me and be a stay at home wife for the next couple years. It's gonna be tough for her but completely worth it in the end. Having her home all the time to help, take care of crap I don't have time for, cook, etc. is fricking awesome.

No kids for a few years atleast.

We're about to have kid number two. I make around 95K and she's around 55K.

I make enough money to cover us so once the kid comes she's going to stay home for 4-5 years and then go back to work (she's a teacher). I have told her if she wants to pay for our kids to go to college she'll have to go back to work. Otherwise that won't happen. I think she'll go back when he goes to pre-K. This way he gets better interaction with kids before he goes to actual school.

Although in order to make it more comfortable we are selling out house and buying a new one. With the equity I have, it will cut our mortgage in half. This way we still have money for fun stuff. Part of the reason for the new house is that I also had said house before we met, so now she gets to pick a house with me. The new house will also be closer to the district she teaches in, so her commute will be better down the road.
