Please stop with the fatigue excuse.

Yes, I realize we're not as deep as we'd like to be, but it's not like we frantically press all game long. There are plenty of game stoppages (with TV timeouts every 4 minutes). These are 20 year old guys in great shape - they can play.

I realize if our guys play all 40 minutes, they'll be tired at the end. But this isn't football. Guys can play 40 minutes and still have something left in the tank. Is it ideal - no. But let's stop using this as an excuse.

Also, whose fault is it that we're not deep? JJ has had three recruiting classes. If the depth isn't there, there's only one place to put the blame.

That is just ignant. We have 4 players who rank in the top 10 in ave min/game in the SEC. The bottom line is we do not have enough depth or guardplay to compete today. No one is saying that our lack of depth is anyone's fault but JJ's but to say fatigue isn't a problem is pretty ignorant. JJ is responsible for the lack of depth but for me personally since with every coach there are benefits and liabilities and this coach's benefits will only continue to surpass his liabilities. Since Dale left, we have had talent that would actually pay to see about every four years and Johnny is filling that talent consistency void in a big way every year improving. In two-three years we will have real talent on the court year in and year out and that will change everyone's tune about LSU BBall.

Yes, I realize we're not deep and our starters play a lot of minutes. I also realize this isn't ideal and there may be times where our guys' legs get heavy.

But let's be real here - these are 20 year olds playing a 30 games season. This isn't the NBA, with grown men playing an 82 game schedule. The "grind" is just a lot less on college players.

I'd also like to give our guys more rest than they're getting now, and I acknowledge that it might be somewhat of a factor in certain games, but for the most part, young guys who are in "basketball shape" can suck it up.
