Did you start a thread to praise coach for the first 33 minutes? How about for making necessary adjustments to go on a huge run after being down 13 in the second half?

Look, he obviously wasn't perfect down the stretch, but you have no clue what the called plays were. Isn't it possible that the players didn't execute the called plays? Maybe Kentucky just tightened up and played outstanding defense down the stretch. After all, they are the best defensive team in the country.

This shite is getting ridiculous. Every single loss is put on CJJ's shoulders by some of you.

It is on Gray. JJ has depth issues and for some reason trusts Gray more. Gray might be talented but he makes bad decisions.

Agree. What was the point spread?
I came away, despite the loss, believing that JJ and the team proved that he can coach and they can play at a high level. Kentucky has too many great players. Hope Martin and Mickey stay and we can get them next year.

This.

If he's going to get blame, he should also receive credit. I really thought that the team could have been headed for a blowout early in the second half, but they battled back and gave themselves a chance to win. The team certainly had a chance to win, but they didn't. A 3 pointer here or there down the stretch and a better free throw percentage and they pull off the upset of the season. They were one last second shot away and I was as disappointed as anyone. I would certainly like to see our team develop the ability to run a set offense for an easy shot down the stretch when it matters. I don't give a shite about moral victories either, but putting this into perspective, this is a Kentucky team that has been projected by some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry to go undefeated. They have blown out top 5 teams by double digits. Great effort and one bucket short.

Trust me, if we had won the game, people like the OP would have gotten on here to complain how - due to poor coaching - we didn't win by 10 points or more. Folks like the OP always have someone else to blame for their discontent (and, they are always discontent).
