I really miss living in Austin almost solely because I miss the HEB.

Great topic.

I will testify for the Bi-Rite Market, in The Mission District in San Francisco. Square-foot-for-square-foot, the greatest market I have seen. Almost everything you could ever want from a food market, in less than the space of a double-shotgun.

Honorable mention to Dean and Deluca (Soho, New York), for pioneering the concept of a deluxe supermarket.

1. Albertsons in Bossier City, Airline
2. Brookshires in Shreveport, Line Ave.

I like Wegmans a lot but I think he takes pics of dogs.

I live in a very small town we have a rouses but it's not an upscale epicurion one so mine are:
1. Rouses - epicurion
2. Fresh Market
3. Whole Foods

The iconic West Side Market in Cleveland. One of the bright spots is this frigid tundra.

Harris Teeter in South Carolina is awesome, but obviously that's not an option in LA.
