He's not a serial killer in the sense that he just likes killing people. The guy seems to kill people when he finds himself in sink or swim situations. Everyone acts like there are others. But the guy doesn't kill for no reason.
1. The first wife was about to divorce him. He was under pressure not to lose all of that money.
2. The second murder was before Susan talked to the cops. She likely knew stuff. He needed to shut her up, even though he really did consider her a friend.
3. The last guy knew he was not a mute woman. So I wouldn't be surprised if Durst slipped and told him too much. Only option was to kill him.
Durst is definitely a threat to murder again if he finds himself in a situation where he sees no other choice, but I don't think he likes to kill people.

He definitely fits the sociopath mold.

You're telling me doing an interview about 3 murders you got away with is a smart idea?
To me it isn't, but I am not a sociopathic/narcissist. There are very few people like Durst on this planet. Loaded rich, smart and almost pure evil. It is a fricked up combination. His childhood was super fricked, seeing your dad basically show you your mom committing suicide? I'm not giving him any wiggle room, but as Jaricki did, I felt a twinge of sympathy at one point.
I hope he is convicted and I hope he rots in hell.

I wouldn't even be surprised if he has something like asbergers that never got treated. He has so many weird ticks in his interviews and is a very smart, but socially awkward man.

We don't know that. He has lied about so many innocuous things at this point. Going to Madrid, when he went to LA and said he was in Barcelona. It is amazing his inconsistencies were not brought out in the initial investigation regarding his wife, who was probably banging another med school student.

According to his brother, Douglas, he never saw his mom commit suicide. He made that up for us to sympathize with him.

That doesn't surprise me. They just never showed the fading image about that. He is vile human being and hopefully every person's life he has essentially held in limbo for decades will be granted some peace.

Gave me a chill knowing that sick bastard was creeping around New Orleans for however long.
I've walked pretty much every part of the city with confidence despite whatever crime and horror stories have been bantered about over the years... but somehow THAT guy being down there gave me a little wigguns.

New Orleans, like Galveston is a great hide away place. You can get lost here, for sure.
Me too, and when it was A LOT worse than now. I just hope he never sees any bail and never is out incarceration for one moment of his wretched life.

Lying is part of the sink or swim mentality. I have known people like Durst. They never killed people because they were better grounded and aware of their problems, but I recognize all of these traits. He definitely enjoys the thrill of the game, but I don't think he likes killing people.

Wonder how his family feels knowing that they are basically responsible for 2 deaths by helping him cover the first one up (no WAY Bob did that without family help).

Come on, sure he does. He killed his wife, best friend and another person he knew.
He derives power and probably some sick sexual feeling from it. I loved the show. Binged watch last night until 2:30am. Tomorrow, 3-0 Arsenal and St Paddy's Day at Finn's.

I think his family really is a bunch of pieces of shite. The way he acts is how people who are shown no love as a child act. That's my opinion, but they just seem shitty.

I really think he left the "cadaver" note so somebody would take care of her dogs.

I do too. More empathy for his best friend's dogs than her life. That just mind fricks me. For the record I love dogs..

So true. My family has that exact dog. Wire haired fox terrier. It was tripping me out.

Dude, he's not an evil genius. He committed his first murder in the 80s before forensics. His family exerted their wealth to help protect him. He was caught for the murder of the guy in Galveston and simply had the means to hire the best defense attorney in the state who tricked a bunch of morons it was self defense. And he got caught fleeing bail when he shoplifted while have around $35k on him. Then with regard to the LA murder he mailed a letter to the cops in his own fricking block handwriting. He was able to get away with it because of his wealth, not because of a high level of intelligence. Doing the interviews with jarecki is an indicator of narcissism to the point of stupidity.

Sooooo.... He's an evil dumbass. A vain one, at that.
