I need to find a final drive control module for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It needs to be used because the reason mine needs to be replaced is due to a faulty recall software update provided by Chrysler. I had the N23 recall done at the end of 2013 and now my transfer case doesn't operate properly in tight turns. This is well documented issue that Chrysler refuses to acknowledge because they don't have a fix for it yet. So I need to find an FDCM that didn't have the update installed.
Anyone have any ideas of where to find this part? I've called a few salvage yards but none of them seem to have a vehicle that "new" on the lot. Needs to be a 2005-2010.

Google Auto Part recycler or used auto part finder.
I bought a transfer case that way several years back.

Car-part.com is the correct answer. Also try Ebay or model specific online forums (several dismantlers will advertise)

Yeah, the reason I posted it was because I've used it a bunch and it searches a bunch of reputable junkyards statewide, regionally, part grade, distance, etc

just to give an update...did some more digging and found a revision had been issued to the N23 recall process but since the new problem wasn't "safety related" Chrysler wasn't required to issue a second recall. So if anyone has problems with the front wheels "dragging" in tight turns or can't shift into 4-low, read this bulletin.
TSB 21-022-14A
had the new flash done on the fdcm on Friday (free of charge by my local dealer) and so far so good. No draggin and 4-low is easily engaged.
