Forgive my cluelessness, as I have only worked briefly at one plant that was non-union, but what legally stops an employer from just cleaning house and hiring non-union employees, hypothetically?

I mean, I understand logistically it's not possible, but aside from that.

Nothing. Can and has been done. There would be lawsuits and all.

Biggest problem is hoping enough experience crosses the line to work.
