I don't rely on it, but it is part of my morning routine. Doesn't seem complete without it.
Like drinking a full glass of watee or brushing my teeth, my day just gets off on the wrong foot.

28 years old and never drank it in the morning before.
If it's 8-9 in the afternoon on a weekend and I'm dragging I'll snag an Irish Coffee. Always hits the spot!
