The only one that I remember being a douche about it is Landon Collins. I don't know the first thing about his recruitment, but by the time he left Bama it's like "We get it. You hate LSU and Louisiana. STFU and move on with your life"

I didn't follow it closely at all till the end, but I think the fact that his mom was super pushy about him going to LSU, a lot of people were convinced he'd stay. That plus her reaction when he announced on national TV made it a huge deal.

Another thing that annoys me is when someone chooses to go out of state and people celebrate when the kid gets in trouble or flunks out of school.
