Cheap Airfare of the Week: $82 roundtrip Nola to Dallas

Here we go again. Utilized the first thread's $97 to go to chicago last Saturday, here's a picture from the Lincoln Park Zoo. Turned out to be 40 and sunny, guess I got lucky.
This week I'm finding $82 roundtrip tickets on American, Southwest, and Spirit (not recommended) from now until the middle of March. Southwest flies to Love Field while AA and Spirit fly to DFW. I know some of you would prefer driving, but it's easier to not deal with the 7 hour drive personally.
Hope everyone's enjoying the beautiful weather this week.

How long of a flight is it to Dallas from NOLA? Can't be more than about an hour and a half, huh?

About an hour, give or take 15 minutes depending on the jetstream and weather.

If you fly Southwest, don't you have a stop in Houston?

Southwest out of DAL will fly direct to every state touching Texas. Outside of that, you have to make at least one connection.
Not true anymore, Wright amendment expired. Flew direct to LAX Monday.

1.Google flights. Type in MSY and DFW. Click on departing date and a calendar will pop up. Find dates where it says $82
2. Southwest website. Go to main page, in middle it says flexible dates. Type in MSY and DAL. Pick February or March, calendar shows up with the cheap dates.

ETA: I take that back. It appears not to be the case anymore.
Yeah, I flew direct ATL-DAL on Southwest back in December. Super cheap flight. Southwest had quite a few gates in ATL.
Love Field > DFW
