If he chose to miss the game, which he definitely won't, it would probably be something he, his girl, and his child would regret in hindsight. Not to downplay child birth, but life is long. He'll have tons of opportunities to make up for it later.

For starters world golf rankings have nothing to do with PGA Tour status.

Prior to the RBC Canadian open, Hunter Mahan had $2,339,697 in earnings Risk for his tour card. He could have not played a tournament the rest of the year and kept his card with absolute ease

Of course, I could have linked any other post of yours in this thread to prove the same point, that just so happened to be the last one. Rage on, bro...I guess.

This thread was pretty divided. I want to see the choice as one of those Sportsnation polls.

Just for some more info Golfer, the 125th money earner had $650,000 in 2013. Mahan surpassed that amount in February

Link to where claimed that?
All I said was it was a risk in general. Never for 2013 specifically. Anything else I'm "wrong" about?

Any other game, even playoff game I would choose child, but this is the mother of all games.
More epic than the World Series, NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup Finals.
This is the mother fricking super bowl.
