Best way for Harris to shut people up is to bust his arse like a superstar and take the job. No one is going to give shite to him.
Miles has proven with Jefferson and now Jennings that the best qb doesnt always get the start. Because there is no doubt Mett and Lee were both better, and many suspect the same for Harris. His parents feel like he will never get a fair shake under Miles, because that precedent has been firmly established

This is just STUPID GARBAGE. I was in the stands when 90,000 fans were booing J. Lee after a pick 6 and cheering for J. Jefferson to come in the game. The freaking fans thought Jefferson was the better qb. Then it became, well, Jefferson isn't any good, put in lee.
Lee gets the start at alabama in 2011. He is scared shitless. he was ducking and throwing at the same time until he threw two picks. LSU won that game because of j. jefferson's ability to run and extend plays. however, when he stunk in the n.c. game, people wanted lee again. Although lee had proved on many occasions he couldn't handle pressure.
Then I remember people not happy about mett in his first year, they wanted rivers OR bolden
Now we are at jennings and harris. People booed jennings in miss st and n.m.st games, harris came in the fourth quarter of ms. state, people cheered, jennings was benched in the sam houston state game, harris had a good half. He wins the job and stinks it up at AU. He fumbled snaps, he turned the wrong way on run plays, he threw over the wr's head, he threw in the dirt. could not tell when they were blitzing. he completed 4 balls going into qtr 4. he scrambles and gets hurt.
So, he got a fair shake and he failed. The PLAYERS wanted jennings. his own team.
quit spewing garbage. There was doubt Mett and Lee were not better than jefferson. There is evidence harris will get a fair shake. There is evidence miles will play them ALL to figure who is the best. and that precedent has been firmly established. The issue, THEY HAVE ALL PLAYED POORLY/STUNK IT UP for the exception of Mett's senior year.
If a guy goes out there and performs well, there will be no qb issues. Please tell me of the players above, was consistantly good? Mett his sr. year. that is it.

So let me get this straight. You think that CLM is so loyal AJ that he is going to risk losing games and risk his job (costing him millions) even though he knows BH is the better QB???
I would suggest you repeat that a couple times. You will understand why that sounds like crazy talk.
I don't know why BH didn't get more playing time, but I would bet both of my balls that CLM is not sitting around thinking BH is the better QB today and gives us the best chance to win but screw that I like ole AJ better.
Ya'll want to put the QB situation all nice and neat in a little box and it is so cut and dry or black and white. Sorry boys and girls, it is typically not that simple.
I am just glad BH showed more class and maturity by not listening to that idiot of a coach (and I use coach lightly). You never advise someone to give up or get on down the road at the first sign of adversity. Geez, what an a-hole.

"Miles Men" don't let facts and history get in their way

I couldn't disagree more about Lee. We don't even get to the NC if he finishes that game.
Coaching highly talented players is a bit more complicated than you think it is.
Do you think Miles doesn't know that BH is the more talented QB? Everyone in that locker room knows it, hell even AJ knows it.
But Miles is wasting BH's talent if he hands him the job without having to bust his arse to get it. No one ever appreciates something as much when they haven't had to work hard for it. Miles is trying to motivate this kid to maximize his preparation/effort as much as he possibly can as quickly as he can, because he knows he will eventually have to lean on him to lead this team.
But to let you guys run the team, you guys would say, "damn BH's preparation. He's better than AJ regardless of how he practices. Give him the job!" That's a really dangerous message you're sending to the rest of your team.
Miles hasn't handled this QB situation perfectly but I definitely agree with him going with AJ. AJ prepares better and has a better grasp on what the coaches want to execute, that's what we all have heard. They just want BH to get to the same level of preparation. By that time, BH will be performing at such a high level that no one will be able to keep him off the field.
But quit with this victim mentality. I hope BH really doesn't feel that himself, because the only people I've known to think like that were losers in life. If adversity is always someone else's fault then that person doesn't take any accoutability for the part they played in it. No one is keeping BH down but himself. Hope he realizes that soon enough.
