id be willing to bet he's worth more than just 10 standings points. He's kept us in a lot of games this year.
I think my whole point was that you can't discount the rest of the roster just because we have the best goaltender in the league

nah man, the rest of the team doesn't do a fricking thing. forwards and D men sit on the bench all game. no shot blockers, no penalty killers, carey does it all!
just like that cat ovie on the caps.
seriously though, a bunch of our roster is right there with backstrom in goals scored. only reason backstrom has those assists he has is because of who he is playing with.
backstrom has 18 goals.
pleks has 19
chucky has 18
gally has 17
so if our roster sucks other than carey, does the caps roster suck other than ovie?
