Should be a fantastic game today. I think the PP of Montreal is the key. If the PP is the normal one the Caps win. If the PP actually shows up I see it as a home win. The Canadiens latest hot streak on the PP is a mirage. I think the formation needs to change and the personnel needs to be changed.

CP31 is playing St Patty like today up until now.
He just got blasted and no call the refs now are letting Washington get away with too much goon stuff.

Some nice matinees today. Weird for a Saturday, but I guess they don't want them on Super Bowl Sunday or something. Wings up 1-0 on the Islanders. On edit, I see there are bunch of day games tomorrow, too.

This is a traditional game for Montreal. I think started 30 years ago play 1 pm Saturday before Super Bowl at home.

God damn. 16-6 on shots in that period, not counting two posts hit... and it's still 0-0. Carey Price has gone full Carey Price. Caps dominating this game but cannot solve Price. He's been awesome ever since Beags missed a wide open net from two feet away in the 1st minute... not that I'm bitter.
And, in case you missed it, Ovie had a 4:16 shift. FOUR MINUTES. That might be a tad too long.

Neither team played for a point. Caps had tons of chances on the Ovie shift and the final minute... oh God, was that all Habs. Did they have like 986764235 scoring chances in that final minute? Hit a post and had a puck bounce on the line.
Lost a year of my life in that final minute. Great game so far.
