Exactly. Someone can be swole and obese according to BMI. But how many of those guys have at least a bit of a gut? Based on my personal observations: A LOT. So is BMI really to blame in those situations?

Not that many at all.

Yes, again it does not take any variables into account whatsoever. It is a decent scale for women.
