I made a reservation Friday night at JCT Kitchen for a smaller group of 9. The large group with the bunch of kids will be harder. The problem is compounded by the fact that the parents are a diverse group - the Grand Isle worked for us in NOLA, but still there was one mom that thought it a little "fancy".

Very nice, great restaurant in a cool area.

As for the fancy comment, it is definitely not a sports bar It is on the nicer side. It is priced about what you would expect. If you get there and completely decide it is too nice there is a taqueria del sol right there to that is decent and very relaxed. Will be tough for a big group tho. There is also a 5 seasons brewing around the corner that is fairly large.

If y'all are in a drinking mood walk over to Ormsby's after dinner.
