Maybe its just me, but I feel like Seattle is going out of there way this year to rattle off at the mouth about the other team. I dont remember them being this chippy about Denver.

Who else has mouthed off? The dude I've heard about is Lane.
Posted on 1/23/15 at 8:12 am to JBeam
Sherman has been mouthing off about Brady. Last year Sherman said some things about Manning, but would always end it with but he's still so good. This year hes just shite talking Brady.

The rest of the Seahawks secondary should dominate the NE WR
you want to talk about a secondary that will dominate...browner and revis against kearse and Baldwin
I think the hawks score 17 at best on offense.

they may be the defending champions, but the Patriots are a defending dynasty, at worst they're the last dynasty and standing in the way of what could be the next one.
the seahawks are the little guy in this game, and it is surprising to see them acting like it

I haven't really heard any shite talking from the Seattle side other than Lane and Sherman. Have I missed something?

the point is, it is belichick and Brady
5 super bowls, 3 championships (playing in their 6th super bowl)...they're what every team aspires to be...how many division titles, 10 win seasons
yes the literal amount of super bowl rings on the seattle sideline is more, but so long as you're playing belichick and brady, you're playing the best. That's why they're so hated. In people's minds vrabel, bruschi, Dillon, law, etc. might as well be on the sidelines...it's the same team to them

that's more shite talking then you'll ever hear from a team
look at the quote in the OP...gronk isn't that good?
Sherman is publically shite talking brady as a person, not a football player...just those two instances makes the trash talking unreal

oh really, then why do people hate the patriots so much...they haven't won a title in 10 years.
it's because they're the standard of excellence, not the defending champions
I really like seattle (this was the best final 4 in a while) and I really like the patriots, but that's how the media treats the patriots, the fans, etc.
for the saints creaming the patriots on MNF in 09 was such a huuuuge deal...why was that?

A backup corner said something stupid and Sherman is doing his usual shite talking. I don't see that as the Seahawks going out of their way to talk shite. It's two players.
After the last Patriots game, does Sherman shite talking Brady surprise anyone?

Sherman is doing his usual shite talking
it's unusual to me, but that's a matter of opinion
quote:how the frick is that relevant...you may even see it as, geez it's so bad the backups are shite talking them. The smart thing would've been to stay out of the shite talking. The last time this happened the patriots became a buzz saw for the next 3 months. It is documented in documentaries and behind the scenes features...they take notice when people run their mouths

The seahawks talked shite all last year, it worked out fine. This year they are talking shite again. They may lose. But it will have nothing to do with them talking or them being afraid of the Patriots lore. If they lose it will be because the Patriots played better football
