would not open your doors for a low budget film. Low paid crews, longer hours and not enough money to make it worth you while. I work in the business and tell friends unless it's a studio show be careful.

To kick me out my house and have dozens of random people coming and going out of my house I would need a boat load of money. With that said I've sold/rented products to movie productions and for the most part they pay top dollar. However this was for some larger production stuff (All The Kings Men, GI Joe, etc.).

I forget what film it was, but a rather large production shot some scenes in the east over trailer park in Denham...they set up shop in 1 trailer for two weeks and the owner got 50k

$50K to "rent" a place in Eastover for a few weeks? They could have bought up most of that dump for that amount. Then again, they would then likely OWN a good amount of hazardous waste that would need to be disposed of.

Just came in this thread to complain about hanging out with Denzel. See ya later!

not really

he was a dick to the elderly people in my neighborhood. He agreed to take a group photo with them when he was finished shooting then he totally snubbed them.

I never hung out with him, nor would I want to.

A local marina leased a boat to Shark Night in 3D. The boat was returned - with quite a bit of damage for which there was no payment.
