I watched a couple episodes and gave up. Not that funny and everything seemed about racism.

i like wilmore and think he is funny but you're right. they are beating this racism shite to death. tonight's whole episode is about the state of black women. as i'm typing this a panelist just said "if i were a white man i would rule the world". all the panelists are in agreement that black women have to work twice as hard to not achieve as much.
not gonna give my opinion , but this is tiring to watch.

His race obsession is extreme, and extremely tiring. And it isn't just the "Criticizing Obama is racist" crap. One night he asked his panel of no-names "which race would you trust to raise your child?" Wtf.
My guess is that Comedy Central wants to add some pigment to their advertising demographics, and the suits think that having "edgy" conversations about race every night will do that.

wouldn't be terrible but since the show is on COMEDY central I'd like it to be somewhat funny and its not.
Hell, lastnight he didn't even do a monologue just dove right into his panel of mad black women

This. I just don't think they can pull off what they're trying to do on Comedy Central. It's not "joke-y" enough. I think it could find itself as an hour-long program on HBO (pretty much like Bill Maher's show).

And although I do think the race issues are important conversations to have, the show could definitely benefit from focusing on other topics as well.
