I often think about how in the hell I would survive without them. My prescription is -6.00. I'm worthless without them. Do you think eyes deteriorate faster when they are being aided by glasses?

Yeah. This is me. I'm -6.00 and -7.00. I can't even find my glasses if I don't know exactly where I put them when I went to bed.
Eye doctor gets mad at me for sleeping in my contacts, but I'm out of it enough already when my alarm goes off. If I can't see shite, I'm going to go back to sleep without even thinking about it.

I just got glasses for the first time over Christmas. I'm 33 and can't stop thinking about this.
I mean, your eyes are a "tool" of your brain and you're forcing your brain to accept misrepresented visual information.
I don't know what to do.
