He WILL piss in the kennel everyday. Just clean it and him up and try not to get to pissed about the situation. In a week or two, he will get the idea and be able to hold it.
Mine would piss himself everyday before lunch. When I got home, I had to clean him, the kennel, grab a bite then haul arse back to work. It sucked big time but its worth it in the end.
ETA: get plenty of paper towels to clean out kennel and some Clorox wipes. they worked wonders for me at killing the urine smell.

this is essentially what will happen
i have been trying this with my varmint/bait trap dog for a month and she still keeps pissing in her kennel

I've had two pups never piss their crate. At night, I would let them sleep either with me, or near me, and run out the door to grass a couple times per night.
