I have Galatoire's reservations, looking forward to it

I might do Chelsea's and Lucy's

I usually do Restaurant Week every year because it is a good chance to try out higher-priced restaurants for cheap.
Ninos!
They are the only one that does three savory courses instead of a dessert (I hate dessert), and they make their own pasta in house.. the food is fantastic.
Mansur's and French Market Bistro (same owners) are both on it this year, and I don't believe they've been on it in years past.
Mansur's actually offers their chargrilled oysters as a first course, which are out of this world.
Beausoleil is a great restaurant, but their RW menu is always underwhelming. I'd skip that.
Zorba's is supposedly very good. I might do theirs this week.

Zorba's is typically excellent, but I haven't been there for restaurant week or looked at the menu.

Thoughts on Ginos? I want to try them and Restaurant IPO.

What about IPO? Their menu is not something I would normally pick, but that's what RW is for. Not to mention Restaurant IPO has a groupon available.

IPO needs a new thread, which I will now start

Probably do Oscar's and Lucy's.

Visit the IPO thread. If I were you and wanting to try, I'd get the Groupon so you have the entire menu to choose from.
As for Gino's, they offer the lasagna on their RW menu, which is what I order.. so I'd go.

Oscar's is good, but Lucy's food is not very good.
Also, I am quite disappointed that it seems many restaurants from previous years have bumped up $5. Chelsea's used to be on the $15 menu, and it made it a really good deal. I wouldn't go for $20/person now... it is normal menu items and I don't care about a soup or salad or dessert anyway.

I'm definitely doing oscars. Not sure what else.

I may have to take your advice and revisit IPO another week, Thanks.
