I think a win vs Tennessee could be a season changer. Would do so much for us.

What an outstanding effort by Nikki Caldwell and her team today. Easily the biggest win of the season thus far.................and with our leading scorer not playing in the second half.
Where to start........?
Clearly Ballard, with 25 pts and 5 ast and 5 stls, showed why she was a preseason ALL SEC selection. UK had no answer for her.
Sheila Boykin, with 14 pts 11 reb...............as the lone senior, I love how she's playing. She's not an all SEC player but, she's defintely doing the little things and playing tough defense on the interior that this team DESPERATELY needs. Considering all that she's been through while here at LSU, I love seeing her contributing so much to this team.
Moncrief, looked great today on defense and the offensive end with 15 pts. Her ability to create off the dribble..........and now hitting her jump shots............gives us possibly the best 1-2 (and with Harden a 1-2-3 punch) punch at guard in the SEC.
I also liked what I saw from Jasmine Rhodes, Rina Hill and Jenna Deemer. They all are starting to look more comfortable as the season continues.
Now, I don't expect us to beat Tennessee on Thursday. However, every other game on the schedule is now winnable. We're 4-2 in conference and, with the way we're playing, I don't think a record anywhere from 11-5 to 9-7 is out of the question. Nikki is going to have to add a top notch recruiter to this staff. Once she does, with how hard her team plays and the style of defense, the sky will indeed be the limit in the coming years.
