What the hell will it take before people stop justifying Jennings poor performance and he could not be in the rotation at any other SEC school. I guess people will wake up when the 2015 SEC record is 2-6 or 0-8.

I hope les keeps starting him so we can see you find new ways to defend his play.
In what way did my previous description indicate I was defending his play? I simply believe that Jennings, as a Junior, having developed chemistry with his sophomore WRs, deserves an honest shot before riding the bench for the remainder of his career.
Seems to me to be the more calculated approach compared to benching every QB after one year.

Hope he starts. It's going to be entertaining either way.

Dural is a redshirt junior now
That's who he threw to the most anyways.

As a redshirt sophomore, Dural had 37 receptions, 758 yards, and 7 TDs as the only starting WR who knew what the hell he was doing and the only WR which Jennings trusted.
If Quinn, Dupre, and Diarse can get on that same comfort level, Jennings can absolutely light it up. Those receivers are responsible for a great deal of the struggle as well and must develop just as Jennings must.
We have the raw talent of Bowe, Davis, Doucet, and LaFell on this team... they just have to grow up.

We're in for another long season if he's the starter.
Free Harris.
Free Harris.

His play was nauseating, putrid, disgusting, and embarrassing. That doesn't confine him to the same play for the duration of his career.

Think about the Iowa bowl game last year, and what the offensive game plan was. Then think about all the time and work and preparation LSU put into Jennings between the Iowa bowl game and the Notre Dame bowl game a year later. Then realize despite all that time and effort the lsu offense was in the same predicament a year later, with no faith in the quarterback and passing game. If that isn't troubling I dont know what is. Jennings is not the answer, and if he is then lsu is in real trouble.

I respect Jennings for trying his best in this ill-fitting scheme. But if the scheme won't change, the QB needs to (although Harris may be no better fit).

Jennings vs Iowa > Jennings vs ND
that piece of evidence right there should show you that even with a full offseason and an entire season of SEC play didn't improve him at all, and he even looked worse
Some of the worst SEC throws were dished out by him this season. Some of the worst pocket presence ever. Doesn't read receivers, locks on to primary target, stares him down, tosses a ball with the velocity of a sputtering El Camino downfield, hopes the receiver makes a play.
If I was a highschool coach looking for a replacement, and you showed me the tape of his play this season, and somehow could CGI out the LSU uniforms so you had no idea who he was.....
I would pass him up

Can you get a shot of B. HARRIS In his stretch and put them side by side. I can't upload pick to TD for some reason. Just curious. I'd like to see them together

What people on here fail to take into consideration was the offense play calling and scheme he, Jennings, was placed into. Put him on any other SEC team and he would look like a pretty good QB. Miles and Cam have already stated as well as indicated that they are going to make changes to the offense for next season. Look how often he was throwing on 3rd and long when the opponents DL was bringing the heat and waiting on the pass. Or passes to Neighbors, who has about a 6' vertical. Or single receiver routes. How seldom he threw on 1st down or 2nd and short. OUr totally uncreative pass game which seldom has open receivers. NOt throwing out of the shotgun often enough which is much easier to throw as well as run out of. The large percentage of drops by our receivers who while talented, were also not use to a passing game. NO one was on the same page in our pass offense. The lack of coaching and play calling in the pass game that would instill confidence in our QB's or receivers. Most QB's and receivers, other than the very elite , would not look very good in the offense we ran last season.

As good as other teams will let him be.

Unfortunately, it's a lack of arm talent

The same people who dump on Harris crappy Auburn performance can make the case for Jennings to be starting QB, despite the fact that there is an even bigger mound of shite that you have to somehow ignore. It really makes no sense.

Was this a contributing factor to, or a reaction of Jenning's limitations as a passer?

1st down - 31/68 635 yards 3 TD 3 INT
2nd down - 39/69 524 yards 4 TD 3 INT
3rd down - 49/85 446 yards 4 TD 1 INT
So only about 37% of his attempts were on third down
