In all seriousness, what's the deal with LSU and it's QB's?

Is it scheme?
Pro style offense too complicated and requires too much precision of ball location for young QB's to execute?
Missed evaluation in the recruiting process?
Bad timing of players leaving the program?
Play calling?
Why do our guys struggle so bad?
My own two cents is we try to force a HS QB who has been playing in shot gun for 3 or 4 years is suddenly put under center where they are not comfortable?
It's the biggest mystery in college football... LSU has all the pieces but QB?
what the heck?

It's coaching, a philosophy, lack of confidence and trust given to the qb

Recruiting read option/ spread QBs for a pro style offense , if you recruit that type of QB adjust your offense to fit . Look at the OCd that have been hired they all are spread type coaches , we have to change with the times

Seriously? It can only be Dumb & Dumber! How else can you allow an offense to be so stale and pathetic QB play? You have to blame Miles & Cam. And I better not hear another season of Miles saying this is the best OL he ever had- they never play up to their potential, and now Collins is gone.

I think you hit all of the issues. To me, it is Cam's inability to adjust to the talent he has. Our offense was great with Mett, Landry, ODB and Hill. We had all the pieces to run Cam's offense.
Now with the lack of QB talent (due to recruiting, development, whatever)we don't seem to call plays that would give the QB a chance to be successful. Why did we not throw tot he TE until the bowl game? Why do we have long developing routes that ask the QB to make too many reads? Keep it simple. Find a way for the QB to have some success/confidence. Basically, adjust the scheme for the talent you have, but you cannot go so conservative that the only pass attempts the QB has is on 3rd and long (usually ends up with a bad comp. percentage).
But it is all interconnected...Recruit pro style QBs (like Mett) and not mobile spread QBs if you are going to run a pro style offense...and you can avoid having to adjust the offense.

Interesting question and one that, so far as my memory serves me, hasn't been raised. I doubt anyone on the board has any strong opinions on the matter one way or the other, though.

Miles uses the QB that can only hand off the ball as long as Cameron thinks QB is not ready for his pro style scheme.

Periloux leaving at a couple complete misses after.

It's the coaches responsibility ultimately to make it all work. Simple.

Pretty simple, actually. LSU recruits great running backs and linemen, and there's no secret about that. Why would a 5-star QB recruit want to share the spotlight?

Ahhh please shut the hell up you whiny bitch

No, I just decided to start my own thread
because I want it fixed!
This is therapy...Sometimes we need to complain about the problems that don't have easy / quick fixes.
But I would like Cam or Miles to explain it to us.
