It's tough late in the game like that cause Ole Miss knew they wanted to get to the basket and the last thing LSU wanted to do was foul, stop the clock, and put he #1 free throw shooting team at the line with a chance to setup a press.
I wasn't all that upset about it. They kept the three point shooters off the three point line. I think we played a pretty physical first half but we gave up too many offensive rebounds in the second half. Still, overall very pleased with the defense.

Good points about not fouling and their reputation as one of the best free throw shooting teams in conference. Still think they let them get to the basket way too quickly. Guess that's better than letting them launce 3's. We won the game so I'm happy!

IMO both of the JM's need to build upper body strength before going to the NBA and hopefully it'll happen before they leave LSU. We still see them losing the tug-of-war for rebounded balls far too often. Still, I agree that overall the defense was pretty solid last night. Just keep improving and they'll be fine come March.
