Haley situation

As long as he is under contract, can he be "reassigned" in dept and it not be considered breach of contract on LSU's behalf?
Is it possible miles allows haley to pursue jobs outside SEC or in NFL prior to NSD, but does not allow him to speak/negotiate with A&M or bama until after NSD? Does LSU have to give permission to other schools to speak with him in order for haley to avoid a breach of his contract?
Maybe he keeps haley in admin position until he finds another nonSEC gig and incentivizes such a move by getting alleva to waive buyout for out of conference job?
Or is it possible haley added back to staff to help coach LBs if and when ncaa allows 11th coach? Seems very unlikely given the verbiage miles used in PC today...
Any insight?

Miles said he would be moved to a position that would allow him to do things he wants to be able to do......so, I guess he's happy?

I took this to mean if he wants to find employment elsewhere he is free to do so. I really doubt he's happy at all..

How much does Haley get paid?
In today's presser about Steele and Ogeron, Miles was asked about Hsley's status with LSU. Miles gave one of his typical non-answers, but included the lines, "He's currently an intern with us. We encourage him."
WTF does that mean? Is this guy going to a few hundred grand a year to make copies and run errands?

Imo he got on clms bad side , probably was taking to other teams and les decided to show him the door ....
Why else would you extend his contract and then hire his replacement .....

He's under contract to be DL coach, specifically. If he stays under the administrative role, he earns DL coach money (thank you Alleva). If we fire him, we pay his full buyout. If he chooses to leave, it's 100K.

Maybe he needs to learn better coaching techniques since the d-line has under achieved the past few years.
