you are probably thinking of montecito, its a little south of santa barbara. its where oprah and michael jackson's mansions are.

I'd be happy with anywhere in the general area. My friends live three blocks from the harbor in Ventura. They don't have A/C or central heat in their house. They do have a fireplace but almost never use it.

Moved here to Boulder from Baton Rouge just over 2 years ago and have no desire to live anywhere else. Just wish I would have moved here sooner.

i'd go with one of those mansions on a private island between miami and south beach. second choice would be a mansion on the intercostal of fort lauderdale.

Montana or Wyoming. I'd have a place with no neighbor for miles.

Why the hell anyone would choose to live so far away from water is beyond me. I'd have to go with San Diego or somewhere up near Coastal Maine.

Nope, money is no object. Where would you live if you were a billionaire

Actually if I was in my early to mid 60s id choose somewhere in Wyoming, Montana or Alaska. As it stands now, I'm 33 with no kids so I gotta go with fisher island in Miami

10k square foot mansion, tropical setting, your own private beach, just outside major metropolitan city. Only downside is the humidity. Like I said, I'm 33 with no kids, I'm not ready to settle down in a town of 50k people on the central coast of California.

1. Place in Brooklyn with a small backyard for my dog
2. Paris
3. Cabin in the middle of nowhere in Montana or Alaska
4. Austin
