Magpul MOE Handguard vs. Rail

I have a rail on my AR right now, but found a good deal on a full set of Magpul MOE furniture (handguard, grip, stock, foregrip) and wanted to know if there was any advantage to the polymer handguard...
TIA.
TIA.

I like the handguards, especially now that they released the sl line compatible with the mlok direct attachment accessories. They are a great option for the keep it simple approach with the front sight base.

Just ran a 2-day carbine class with VATA in Slidel and learned a lot...
Ran my cousin's Sig M400 (AR15) with the MOE handguard. It is slightly bulkier than the regular A2 handguard and not as slim as a free-floating tube, but not NEAR as bulky as a quad rail. You aren't going to use all that space so it's good to save on weight.
But if you like your handguard and want to throw a bunch of shite on it, then stick with it.

I have the same M400 with MOE furniture. I prefer the MOE hand guard. Magpul makes smaller rail pieces that can mount to their hand guard so you can still get the functionality/custom placement of rail systems without the weight. I do like that I do not need rail covers for a comfortable grip. Compared to the A2-style hand guard the MOE one feels more comfortable. If I had to choose between rail and MOE I would choose MOE principally due to the reduced weight and bulk.

i have the colt le6920 that came with all the magpul moe furniture
i like the foregrip over the quadrail because it's lighter and i can still add shite where i want it
