The counter argument is that players underperform when they are in foul trouble which is somewhat logical but I will gladly take a worried MVP candidate over an alternative rotation. When a player fouls out, he sits on the bench. He also sits on the bench when you sit him on the bench for foul trouble.

Anyway, good close of the half there.

It makes sense to sit a guy in foul trouble to let him relax and refocus, but I agree that sometimes they need to keep playing a high amount of minutes. Superstars have to learn to play in foul trouble.
