I like your logic and wish you would post more. The price of gasoline as a psychological effect is stunning to me. It has always opened up consumers wallets. When I go to the grocery store and see people buying expensive stuff so they can can save .03 per gallon on tank of gas, it just baffles me.
South Florida is more crowded, and more crowded earlier than I've ever seen this winter. People are spending. Anecdotal evidence, but I'd be willing to bet, or invest in Darden, that it eventually makes it to Uncle Sug's statistics and whatever that index is that tracks consumer confidence.
Posting on Facebook on their employer's time, but won't take 30 minutes to log on to their retirement accounts and rebalance. Or adjust for what must eventually come. Higher interest rates. Eventually. Has to. When? Good questions. But posting to Facebook, and driving all the way across town t save .03 on gas? That's important shite.

Bought a 100 shares of Range Resources yesterday. Stock cut in half, low extraction costs, 60% nat gas hedged at $4.10 mcf thru 2016 and oil hedged at t$90 thru16.
