I think the OP was trolling as anyone who likes cars and would want a car part tattooed would, I think know what they were getting.
An alternator is more complex than a turbo. People who are big into stereo and sound competitions are likely to get huge expensive aftermarket alternators.
Possibly someone in that crowd would want an alternator on them.
