According to this, it's a done deal.

very well could be about both. Maybe Saban truly believes that and this was his opportunity to speak on his opinion. Who knows.
If Saban truly cares about the kid, then call up the coach at Utah School for Elvis Impersonation and ask for a favor. Let the kid get away from the limelight at a smaller football school and focus on education. The NFL can find him there.
Sorry, Saban just wants to get a football player that helps his team win, and his speech is trying to justify it.
I can accept that folks make mistakes. I agree with Sabans words. Just don't think they're genuine from him.

I don't care what the situation is, if you are still facing 2 FELONY charges stemming from beating a teenage girl, you should NOT be allowed to sign with any team in the SEC.
We get guys like Valentine held out all year but a kid with 2 felony charges of violence is free to sign wherever?
That is fricked up...where are all those women's groups that just got thru railing the NFL over women being abused? They sit idly by and let this go on as long as they aren't in the league yet?

He's about the only DT we have any shot at and he sounds like as much trouble as G Willis.
He makes Willis look like a choir boy/honors student

If LSU would have taken this dude, ESPN would have roasted Les & LSU. But Nick got a free pass & praise for his 'second chance' speech. Now that Taylor is arrested again, i'm sure Nick will get another free pass. Again, if this incident had happen after roasting Les & LSU, oh my it would have been on every national news station like a Penn State scandal.

No lol. Willis may not be as bad, but how many times has he been in trouble for fighting or hitting somebody? Stealing as well. Both of those dude's are cancers at the moment, and need to go to a real small school a straighten themselves out.
