Wouldn't the cam sensor set the CEL off? Same with the crank sensor? Yeah, pistons slap when it is cold, but it goes away once it gets warmer than say 170 degrees. This is all of the time, and is more of a hard miss when I'm running 80-85mph. Not as frequently. Still no codes though

I don't know if it would or not.

I'm sure you'll need something like mojo was talking about to hunt it down without throwing parts at it.
