Good grief.

These kids voluntarily decide to play (and, oh by the way, they get their college education paid for). They can quit at any time.

I recall an all-pro NFL player a few years ago, who had a massive contract, equated his situation (free agent status) to slavery. Just beyond belief, on all levels.
