Chavis did a good job with what he had to work with in 2013. Finished 3rd in the SEC in total defense and 4th in scoring defense in the SEC. Really the offense could have done a lot better in 2013 with the talent on hand. Chavis is 1005 right about the offense scheme/philosophy holding this team back all these years. Not to say I'm not glad to see him go. Recruiting is so important these days and he wasn't much of a recruiter plus wasn't that fond of his defense style with the whole going little at LB thing.
