Looking back now it's surprising we tried to throw it that much? Hell he coulda ran for 100+ on draws
Yep. The rant got everything they wanted in that game, and it failed miserably. We would gash for ~7 ypc to start every drive and then go 3 wide and the drive stalled. Defense goes right back on the field before they could even catch their breath, and the points start piling up.

Nearly everyone worked AU's defense, even a certain true freshman QB. Even a run heavy Wisconsin worked that D (even though they didn't pass much).
The best we could do is 7 pts.
Let that sink in.
Kansas St had 14 points on them.. AT HOME..
Arkansas only had 21 points
Auburn's defense was not getting worked until after the LSU game bro..
Check the schedule

here you go.. so nobody was working their D until after Mississippi St got a hold of them..
both kansas st and auburn both had good enough offenses and they both only got 1 or 2 more tds than us..

Line played bad and play calling was awful yet again
The line play actually wasn't terrible, it was their best game of the season up to that point. Harris made them look bad by leaving the pocket WAY too early. You can hear the frustration is Todd Blackledge's voice in that video.
The gameplan on offense in that game was exactly what it should have been. Power run game, balanced out with the play action pass and deep ball. Execution was just atrocious the whole night.
Harris clearly has the arm to be a big time player. He needs to gain weight and confidence to be a full time starter. I think he has more of a shot to do that at LSU than most people on here are saying.

This was a radio game for me so this is the first time I've seen it.
He was erratic and nervous but still, you can see that there is potential there if it can be dialed in.
