Arenado and while I hate keeping catchers, Mesoraco's power appeals to me big time so I'd lean there. The other right answer is probably Dozier though.

Interesting that no one is picking Wong. Potential 20/20 at 2B on the Cards. Good track record in the minors. Great team in the majors.

I like Wong... more than Dozier. That said, I don't think he's a 20 homer guy especially if trying to become one keeps his average/OBP down... which ishould be his calling card along with the steals. If he can annually average 12-15, that would be pretty good for him.

Who are your 2, Marle?

Dozier already is a 20/20 guy

Someone explain the love for Wong. I don't get it.

Strong hitting pedigree, speed, thin position, plays for the Cardinals. While a guy like Dozier is more productive, Wong has more hitting potential... just with less power.

He hit at AAA but it was the PCL, notorious hitters league. Ask the royals about all their super prospects who hit at the PCL and didn't produce at the ML level. I don't play in leagues that use avg but if he can hit for avg I could see his value.

I'm just explaining the appeal... whether it translates is a different topic. I think we all know to temper our expectations regarding PCL stats... at least I would hope. His hitting prowess isn't something that's been drummed up from his PCL stint... it goes back to his college days and played a big part in why he was drafted high.

out of those guys, i think he has the best upside outside of Arenado
he's 3 years younger than Dozier and Mesoraco. ANd its not like both of those guys came up and lit the league on fire. Last year was Wong's first season with extended ABs. i think he only gets better

Since he's a cardinal I also have a built in bias against

Let's say I've narrowed this down to one of either Wong or Mesoraco. Which one would you baseball savants prefer to keep?
