This threat says a lot about Alleva, and, unfortunately LSU's Athletic Dept under him.
It DOES look petty and unlikely to succeed.
AND if we are relying on La. Jurisdiction to give us a friendly LSU- favorable judge to give us relief we are not entitled to, we look corrupt, as well.
I don't like what Chavis did, but he was free to do so.
I am more concerned about how our AD handled it initially and continues to do so . AND it looks like Alleva never had a Plan B in the works in case Chavis left.
THAT is the biggest! most troubling story...

The point of a buyout is to deter suitors/get some money if the coach does leave. What is the point of having it in a contract if you are just going to let it slide? There is nothing petty about enforcing a contract.
