only happened once. Drove all the way to spend the holidays with my family in atlanta. right before christmas dinner, i got violently sick and spent christmas night on the bathroom floor.

The worst is being sick....and having to work all of Christmas. Happened to me one year at another hospital I worked at. Had to suck it up and go to work with 102 fever and take lots of DayQuil and Motrin. No way work would have believed I was sick if I called in on Christmas. You think the charge nurse would have let me go home after seeing I was legit sick.....nope. Told me we are short staffed and make sure to take my Motrin and wear a mask into patient's rooms. Thankfully I don't work there anymore.

wife and I had the flu that hit hard and fast on Christmas Day. In laws kept the kids so we could rest in misery.

Not sick...but recovering from a hemorrhoidectomy performed last Thursday. Don't think I'll be riding that new bicycle tomorrow. I'd be happy to just have a normal BM sometime before the end of the year.

going to see my doctor today because of itchy achy ears and a bit of a scratchy throat. Hoping it's just due to lack of sleep or the ever-changing weather out here.

Been in bed since Sun. Finally able to move around, but so drained. Need energy for the morning cause I know my son is gonna want me to play some of the new video games he'll get. Plus I gotta be better by Tue. Will suck if I'm sitting out in the cold at the bowl game, and sick.

Santa brought me the flu this year. Luckily I'm just about over it, missed all the Christmas parties though
