Overreaction. Same thing happened when Brady started this year being very mediocre. It happens, and the Bengals had a great game plan for the Broncos. Credit goes to the Bengals for this one.

Brady still has a cannon arm, though.

Come on man

Rodgers
Brady
Romo

For me, I'd take all of those three.

So it's just basically if you'd put a guy like Roethlisberger or Rivers over him. Or Brees.

Don't get me wrong, AWFUL decision, but he didn't even step into that.

Watch the comeback routes and the out routes, that is where you really see the arm strength of a QB.

That's all I'm saying.

His arm is not great. It's very hard to play quarterback in this league with a weak arm, no matter how smart of a player you are.

You have to figure that next year, the arm might get weaker earlier in the season. That's just father time working.

His arm is definitely out of gas. The play where the DB took the ball from TE is an example. On that play, if he has any zip on the ball, that is an easy completion and possibly a 1st down.

For sure.

Manning's first throw of the game tonight was an absolutely duck, that was completed. He had defenders in his face, though.

The arm is just weak. No denying it.

Exactly.

The sideline routes are where you really see a weak arm.

Just like Brees lately.

Tons of throws to look at there that actually show arm strength.

It's really hard to watch him play like this. I wouldn't be surprised if he hung it up after this season.

Ha I know man. I was surprised I found that that fast. I really like Brady and he is on my fantasy team(which means nothing) but everyone really overreacted after a few bad games from him early. I forgot you were a Pats fan too .

Each have some left in the tank, Brady about 2 years more. That being said, Manning has two more years of being elite and Brady has around 4.

I also think that both retire at the right time and don't Favre it.

It's easy to say this now but how will you feel if he dominates in the playoffs (lol) and someone bumps this thread. Not saying you're wrong but the timing of this thread makes it seem very reactionary.

Either after this year or next year.

Brady will Favre it, and I doubt he ends his career with NE. He legit thinks he can play until he's 45. I think this extension that is reportedly being finalized is his last contract as a Patriot.

Manning' last throw was an absolute duck. That thing floated around so much I thought AJ McCarron threw it.

His first throw of the game was a duck too.

He doesn't have the arm anymore. Will be interesting to see how much longer he wants to play, if he can't play at the level he is accustomed to. Or with the comfort.
