He said atheists live by facts. I want to know what they are. And I want to separate those things he relies on scientifically from atheism, because it has nothing to do with atheism.

How many times are people going to have to tell you that there is a difference between believing there is no god and not believing in god for you to stop asking this.
I would assume most atheists would say that there isn't enough evidence for a god to believe in it just like there isn't enough evidence for an invisible dragon in my garage for me to believe in it.

You mistakingly believe that facts have to be strictly scientific in nature.
