Either for not playing him to see if he's worth anything in a game that means NOTHING or for drafting a guy in the 2nd rd who's so bad he's a DNP-CD for all but 8 plays all year.

No reason not to see what he can do. Also no reason to risk Lewis's health, especially when he's already been banged up for a lot of the season.

Treat this like a preseason game. New starters everywhere possible. Would not hurt my feelings a bit.

I wish there was any sort of comeuppance for stupid shite players and coaches do. This was a huge miss. How does that happen when people's entire life/job it is to evaluate players?

Not calling it a huge miss unless he gets cut from the team before the start of next season.

But I hope/pray the Saints have learned to start drafting players who can come in and play; not any of these project players we fall in love with.
