Been using a modified but not sure if its best. Normally hunt small ponds and have closer shots 20-30yards. Going to hunt on the river next weekend. Shooting 3" kent fast steel. What is the best choke to use? Do i need a full or is modified good or what? TIA

I shoot a modified the majority of the time but I keep an improved modified in my blind bag just incase the ducks are being stubborn and staying a little ways out. Just out of curiosity, what kind of gun are you shooting? I bought 2 boxes of kent 3" #3 fast steel and they keep hanging up in my SBE2. Idk what the deal is.

This was a test I did. Kent 3" with kick high flyer performed the best for me. Obviously not the biggest sample size and not a lab type test but it was me Fooling around in a yard

Eta: percentage is number of hits on a target circle out of total bbs in shell

Those Kent shells don't jack up your gun? Those shells burn dirtier than anything else I've shot.
