Okay,
I'm a latecomer to this band. I first got introduced by a vinyl collector friend a few years ago. I'm just kind of blown away that music like this was being made side-by-side with the Grateful Dead, the Stones, and all the shite that we call "psychedelic" music. This stuff is truly bizarre psychedelia that lets you see the people who were really pushing the envelope back in the 60s/70s. The stuff we think of as 60s/70s "trippy" music, really only scratched the surface of what was really going on.
For your listening pleasure:

Listening to the entirety of their album, Tago Mago, tonight. Holy shite. Mind blown once again. I dare some of you psychedelic warriors to get a good dose on and throw this on the sound system.

As a big time Krautrock fan I can definately say Halleluhwah by Can is the best krautrock jam I've heard
That and Neu!'s first album are the crowning achievements of Krautrock
Well other than Kraftwerk...which might be better than all of it
Krautrock rules

Loved several Krautrock bands, Can being one of them...

This is my first time listening to this band. Paperhouse is making me feel good in the bathing suit spot. Nice recommendation.

Found out about Can through Kanye West of all people. He samples 'Sing Swan Song" on the track "Drunk and Hot Girls". Can was so far ahead of the game it is insane. Great band!
