I believe it's a synthetic THC (can't confirm with a link but I'll look harder later), but the chemical itself is identical. If your complaint is anxiety, I would imagine that you aren't used to unopposed THC- marijuana plants have probably 50-60 different cannabinoids that have been identified. The two biggest players are THC (pro-psychotic/causes anxiety) and CBD (opposed effects of THC, basically. Forgive the absolute most basic-ness of this explanation). The THC without CBD could very well explain feelings you had.
Please don't confuse synthetic THC with synthetic marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids. It's a lab-created version of the same thing. Not a synthetic analog used to get around the law restricting known cannabinoids from being consumed. The former acts like natural THC. The latter uses the same receptors in a different way- essentially the difference between ultram and fentanyl/heroin/morphine. Same receptors in the body with very different effects.
