Honestly, I made it up. I had some at FQF and loved it, but I couldn't really find a recipe online.

Fried the oysters in seasoned flour/cornmeal.

Sauce was simple. Onions and garlic sauteed in butter. If using dried herbs, toss in at that point because their natural oils sweat out when they're sauteed (tossing them into sauces later is pointless). Deglaze with white wine. When wine is evaporated, add chicken broth. Reduce. Add whipping cream. Add grated Parm once the liquid is hot enough.

Toss with oysters and penne. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parm and cracked black pepper.

Drink the rest of the bottle of wine you cooked with.
